
Prof Dr Achim Rogmann
Achim Rogmann is working as an independent customs consultant since retiring in March 2025. Previously, he was from 2000 to 2025 professor of European and International Business Law and responsible for teaching and researching in the area of Customs and Foreign Trade Law at Brunswick European Law School (BELS) in Wolfenbüttel/Germany, where he also acted as Dean International. In this position he could benefit from ten years of work experience in the German Customs administration. He is also adjunct professor at Murdoch School of Law and Criminology in Perth, Western Australia, and visiting lecturer at the University of Münster in the interdisciplinary degree course “Master in Customs, Taxation and International Trade Law” (MCA). His research and publications focus on international customs law and its implementation into European Union law.
