Dr Aistė Medelienė has been practicing tax and customs law for more than 20 years. She started her professional career at the Tax Disputes Commission under the Government of the Republic of Lithuania, where she also dealt with tax disputes with the Lithuanian Customs, and then taught the Customs Law course for ten years to the students of the Faculty of Law of Vilnius University, specializing in Finance and Taxes, and is the co-author of the textbook "Tax Law". As an attorney-at-law, Aistė represents her clients in relations with customs, as well as in tax disputes, including representation before the Court of Justice of the European Union.
