The EU Customs Reform is about to take its final legislative shape, reshaping the customs landscape by abolishing customs declarations, altering stakeholder liabilities, introducing a single customs IT system for the entire EU, creating the Trust and Check Trader status alongside the AEO, amongst other significant changes. The changes are far-reaching, and the time to start preparing for them - so as to ensure smooth cross-border trade in goods - is now. The recording of the EU roundtable 'How can SMEs get ready for the new UCC?' (held on 11.11.2025) is designed to support SMEs - importers, exporters, logistics companies and others - in preparing for the upcoming changes.
