Amina Shafi Rogers
Amina Shafi Rogers is a Practice Innovation & Knowledge Attorney at Crowell, where she supports the firm’s Regulatory Department and Crowell Global Advisors through the evaluation, development, and implementation of innovative approaches to client service, such as modern knowledge management systems, legal technology solutions, and generative AI applications. In this role, Amina serves as a strategic partner to attorneys and other legal professionals across the Regulatory Department’s many practice groups, as well as Crowell Global Advisors, empowering them to deliver forward-thinking legal services and value to clients.
Before joining Crowell, Amina spent nearly 18 years in the federal government, where she specialized in refugee and asylum law, international information sharing, and capacity building. She served in a variety of roles at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, where she advised on humanitarian protection policy, managed complex caseloads, and led interagency collaborations with international partners such as the UNHCR and the Five Eyes network. Her deep understanding of public sector processes and multilateral engagement continues to inform her approach to legal innovation and client service in the private sector.
