
Oleg Kyryievskyi
Oleg is an experienced international trade and customs lawyer. As a Managing partner at First Chair Legal - Ukrainian law boutique specialized in international trade and customs law - Oleg is focused on providing legal services in the field of international trade (preferential origin, customs compliance, and disputes, AEO authorization).
First Chair Legal is among the leaders in its field. In recent years, the company has been consistently recognized in the Ukrainian Law Firms rankings. In 2025, First Chair Legal has been named to a list of the most promising small and medium-sized businesses in Ukraine by Forbes Next 250 awards.
Beyond its core services, First Chair Legal actively contributes to the field by developing educational initiatives, including industry events and published materials. In 2023 Oleg co-authored a handbook on obtaining preferential origin for goods in Ukraine and in 2025 - a comprehensive handbook on preferential origin and the new PEM Convention (with emphasis on digital tools) for SMEs in Ukraine, Moldova, and Georgia.
Oleg also teaches his author's courses of Legal Writing and International Trade at Ukrainian Catholic University. In addition to his professional work, he is currently pursuing a PhD, with his scientific research focusing on “Harmonization of the customs legislation of Ukraine and the European Union».
For six consecutive years (2019-2025), Oleg has been elected Сo-chair of the EBA Customs Committee.
