Customs Manager Course

A introductory customs manager training combining recorded modules, guided case studies, quizzes and tests and direct support from your lecturer. You will receive support before, during and after completing the course.

Lecturer

Dr Michael Jung has been working in international customs management for over 25 years and is also a speaker, trainer and university lecturer.

This course will provide you with:

Recorded modules with extensive reading material organised by topic, allowing you to learn in the order you want and in your own time 

• Up-to-date, practical customs knowledge 
• Overview of the wider international trade context  
• A course based on modern teaching methods

• Learning based on the "The EU Customs Competency Framework".

Modules

1. Module: Trade Policy, Basics;
2. Module: Infrastructure, Import, Customs Debt Law;
3. Module: Customs Procedures;
4. Module: Customs Tariff, Customs Value;
5. Module: Export Procedures and Export Control;
6. Module: Origin of Goods/ Preferences and AEO;
7. Module: Sanctions and Private Law in Foreign Trade;
8. Module: Building on the Modules 1-7, this module focuses on a practical case study and explanation.

Each module consists of:

• a recorded lecture;
• sources and reference reading material;
• case studies and exercises;
• a quiz – 60% required to pass the quiz.

You can also complete individual modules and pick the topics that are of interest. 

As part of the course, you will get support from the lecturer and a monthly Q&A session when you can discuss the current topic and any questions or challenges with the lecturer and other participants. 

Time

After purchasing the course, you will receive access for 3 months. Please plan about 80 hours (10 days) for the course.
