EU sanctions and designations update

EU sanctions and designations update

Sanctions screening goes beyond checking whether a name appears on a list.

During this practical briefing, we will:

  • look at recent additions to EU sanctions lists and how designation measures should be read in practice;
  • discuss what to check when a person or entity is listed, and why a listing should be considered alongside the restrictions set out in the relevant legal act;
  • also look at why UK and US sanctions lists are relevant for businesses operating in the EU or trading with EU counterparties.

The session will include a live demonstration of Sanctions AI, showing how it can support research and sanctioned-person checks.

🎁 One attendee will be selected to receive 30 days of free access to Sanctions AI.
